Article continues below Officers are said to have found £4,000 in cash and four mobile phones when they searched a property in Tipton. ‌ Stolen goods were also reportedly found inside the address which is believed to be linked to drug supply in Telford, Shropshire. A 35-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs on Wednesday, April 16. Article continues below “Today we have successfully arrested a man on suspicion of supplying drugs in Telford, and he remains in custody as we continue our investigation.” A spokesperson for West Mercia Police added: "A man was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs by officers from Telford, earlier today (Wednesday 16 April). "The man, aged 35, was located in Tipton in the West Midlands and is believed to be involved in supplying class A drugs into Telford. ‌ "During the arrest officers searched a property in Tipton where they seized four mobile phones, £4,000 in cash and a number of items believed to be stolen goods. "The arrest forms part of a county lines investigation into drug supply into Telford. The man remains in police custody as enquiries continue."
