OnePlus is gearing up for an exciting Summer launch event in India, scheduled for Tuesday, July 8, 2025. At this event, the tech giant plans to unveil two highly anticipated smartphones: the Nord 5 and the Nord CE 5. Additionally, the company will introduce the next generation of its earbuds, the OnePlus Buds 4. This launch marks a significant step for OnePlus as it aims to cater to mid-range and entry-level premium smartphone buyers, directly competing with leading brands such as Poco, iQOO, and Motorola.

The OnePlus Nord 5 is expected to be powered by the advanced 4nm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, coupled with LPDDR5X RAM that will enhance its performance considerably. This model will also incorporate Snapdragon Elite Gaming, which is designed to optimize gaming experiences, and will support hardware-accelerated real-time ray tracing—a feature that elevates the visual quality of games considerably.

In terms of photography capabilities, the Nord 5 is set to impress with a 50 MP camera on both the front and back. The rear camera will utilize a Sony Lyt-700 sensor, known for its exceptional image quality, while the front camera will be equipped with a JN5 sensor, ensuring high-quality selfies and video calls.

As for the OnePlus Buds 4, these new earbuds will feature dual drivers and dual DACs, aimed at providing an exceptional audio experience. Pricing for the new devices is also generating interest. The Nord 5 is expected to fall within the premium segment, priced above ₹30,000, while the Nord CE 5 is anticipated to be more budget-friendly, targeting the under ₹25,000 segment. The OnePlus Buds 4 are likely to retail for over ₹3,000.
