In less than three weeks you can barely notice where I had the tumour removed. I feel almost normal. Article continues below "My ear is still quite numb and my face a little tender but other than that I'm feeling good." "It's not massively gruesome but it certainly looks worse than photo number 1." ‌ Fearne added: "I found the whole process fascinating and feel very grateful that the operation went well and that the tumour was benign. "My surgeon Professor O'Flynn made me feel extremely calm and all the nurses were complete angels. "Nurse Jackie was especially amazing whilst I was in hospital telling me to get off my phone and nap etc. I needed a firm telling off at times." ‌ The mum-of-two concluded: "Feeling grateful that I'm healing well and will always wear this scar with pride. A reminder to slow down and look after myself." She added in a separate post: "Also, had an ultra sound today and I'm happy to say that I'm healing well post operation and there is not a scrap of tumour left on my parotid gland. Grateful. "To those of you who sent me messages that have a similar operation coming up I'm sending love for your recovery." ‌ Fearne is now reportedly in a new relationship with Elliot Hegarty, 53, a TV executive. This follows the star's split from her musician husband Jesse Wood - son of Rolling Stones legend Ronnie Wood. Fearne and Jesse tied the knot in 2014 and welcomed their first child together, Rex, in 2013, followed by their daughter, Honey, in 2015. ‌ Shortly after celebrating their 10-year anniversary, the presenter announced on Instagram that she was ending her marriage.
