More info Manchester United's biggest weakness was confirmed again during Sunday's dismal 1-0 defeat at home to Wolves. Ruben Amorim's labouring side have limped through the entire campaign with an abysmal record in front of goal. The Reds have played almost as many games in the Premier League this season (33) as they have goals scored (38). Strikers Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee, meanwhile, have netted just 15 goals between them across all competitions. With Zirkzee ruled out for the remainder of United's season, only Hojlund can now add to this tally. Judging by the Danish forward's performance against Wolves, Amorim will have to rely on goals from other areas of his team. It's why a new forward is so essential for the Reds this summer. One player who has been linked is Wolves' Matheus Cunha. The Brazilian's record of 16 goals across all competitions this term are said to have piqued the interest of United, Arsenal and Nottingham Forest among others. And his bizarre move at Old Trafford on Sunday has already fuelled rumours that he wants to join Amorim's men. Two videos from the warm-ups at M16 emerged, with one appearing to show Cunha wiping the turf onto his legs A second video then appeared to show the 25-year-old waving to fans inside the stadium. At half-time, the versatile attacker also received a hand on the back from Amorim as the pair entered the tunnel. Of course, Cunha's behaviour was always going to be heavily scrutinised this weekend amid transfer links with United. In truth, anything Cunha did at Old Trafford is unlikely to be a sign of what comes next for him. It's easy to overanalyse every action someone takes. But his actions on Sunday have only fuelled further rumours among the Reds faithful on social media that he could be heading to Manchester this summer. For now though, Ipswich Town's Liam Delap appears to be the most likely attacking signing this summer. Delap reportedly has a £30million release clause in his contract, which will be activated once the Tractor Boys' inevitable relegation to the Championship is confirmed. Whoever the Reds end up signing, it can't be much worse than the pitiful attacking options they've had up-front this season.
