Her co-host Jane Moore brought up Janet's appearance on Celebrity Catchphrase that had viewers talking after the weekend. The show played back footage from Janet’s time on the game show, which made it evident her experience was less than perfect. Never missing a beat with her signature cheeky humour, Jane questioned if Janet really knew what she was getting into. Janet humorously shot back: "I watched one episode and I thought I understood it.", reports the Mirror. She playfully added in her defence, "But, all I can say in my defence, m'lord, is that my brain is wired differently." Janet admitted to her Loose Women colleagues that during the game she tended to overthink the answers instead of following the classic advice, "say what you see." Reflecting on the outcome, Janet revealed: "What I will say, after my disastrous recording, they came up to me and went, 'What a laugh, Janet, you are the worst contestant.'". The audience at the studio shared a sympathetic reaction to the frank critique Janet received. Nevertheless, the resilient 78 year old swiftly recovered by recalling her past successes on various game shows. Beaming with pride, she claimed: "I've won Tipping Point, I've won the Weakest Link and I've won Pointless." The audience responded with rapturous applause upon hearing about her impressive history in quiz shows. When Jane probed Mariella Frostrup for her opinion on gameshows, the ITV personality candidly confessed, "Quizzes are a nightmare, particularly, I think if you're a woman of a certain age, the old brain fog sets in-". But Janet was quick to chime in, asserting her freedom from brain fog, which led Mariella to quip, "Well, what happened to you on Sunday then?". The banter grew sharp as Janet, evidently irked by the comment, shot back, "I'm sorry, Mariella, that is not a general knowledge quiz." Unperturbed, Mariella retorted: "No, but it's a quiz."
