Thank God today happened to be a day that we have no patients.” Fortunately, while the consultation rooms of the clinic were damaged, the in-vitro fertilization (IVF) laboratory, along with its stored embryos, remained unharmed.

Witnessing the explosion was Nima Tabrizi, who happened to be near a local cannabis dispensary when the blast occurred. He described the moment, saying, “The building just shook, and we go outside and there’s massive cloud smoke. Crazy explosion. It felt like a bomb went off.” Tabrizi further recounted that when he approached the site, he saw human remains among the debris, a stark reminder of the tragedy that unfolded.
