I can't believe that this is happening. It just, it's impossible." He continued firmly, "And then for them to say that she committed suicide, there's no way that she did. Somebody got to her.", reports the Mirror. ‌ When asked about how he would like Virginia to be remembered, Sky replied: "As someone who actually got out of a bad situation and made a good situation out of it, that she was helping a lot of other young girls that were feeling the pain of what goes on with people like that... I think she's strong, very strong, and that's why I don't think she committed suicide. She had too much to live for. She had her foundation." Giuffre's legal battle with Prince Andrew gained international attention in 2021 when she lodged a lawsuit against him, accusing him of sexual abuse. She claimed that she was coerced into having sex with the Duke at the age of 17 after being trafficked by the now-deceased billionaire Jeffrey Epstein. ‌ The allegations have been strongly denied by Prince Andrew, who has not faced any criminal charges. A notorious photograph shows Ms Giuffre as a teenager, with Andrew's arm around her waist, inside Ghislaine Maxwell's London townhouse in 2001. The Duke of York has stated he has no memory of ever meeting her and has refuted all accusations. ‌ During his YouTube programme Uncensored, Piers Morgan questioned Sky about the photo of his daughter with Prince Andrew, asking if it could be a forgery. He then disclosed to the presenter for the first time that he had seen it years earlier. He admitted: "Virginia sent the original picture, so I know it wasn't faked, but the original picture of Prince Andrew and her with Ghislaine Maxwell in the background, so I know that's true that she did. She was there with him. ‌ "And when did she first show you that? Piers asked. "Many years ago when it happened," Roberts responded. "But before it became public knowledge?" Piers said. "Yes," he replied." The complete interview will be available to view this evening on Piers Morgan: Uncensored on YouTube. ‌ Just days after her family shared a handwritten letter by Virginia before her passing, in which she vowed that her "voice will not be silenced." The letter stated: "Mothers, Fathers, Sisters, and Brothers need to show the battle lines are drawn, and stand together to fight for the future of victims." She also questioned: "Is protesting the answer? I don't know. But we've got to start somewhere." ‌ Amanda Roberts, Giuffre's sister-in-law who is married to her brother, posted the note online. Accompanying the image of the letter, she paid homage to Giuffre, pledging to carry on her advocacy for those who have survived abuse. "Hello world. We found a handwritten note that our sister Virginia wrote," Roberts expressed in her post. "I think it's important that the survivors know that she's with you and her voice will not be silenced. I know that it's so important, and her wish is that we continue to fight." In 2021, Giuffre brought a civil lawsuit against Andrew in New York under the Child Victims Act, alleging he sexually abused her three times when she was 17 years old - in London, New York, and the US Virgin Islands.
