Salman Khan Playfully Teases Aamir Khan at 'Sitaare Zameen Par' Screening

Mumbai recently became the center stage for an extraordinary gathering of Bollywood’s most prominent figures as the three titans of the industry—Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Salman Khan—came together for the grand screening of the highly anticipated film Sitaare Zameen Par on June 19. The event drew an impressive crowd of celebrities, but it was the light-hearted banter and camaraderie displayed between Salman and Aamir that truly stole the show.
As the star-studded red carpet buzzed with excitement, videos showcasing the two Khans sharing laughter, striking poses, and engaging in animated conversations quickly made their way across social media, delighting fans everywhere. One particularly amusing exchange caught on camera involved Salman teasing Aamir about his rumored romantic interest, Gauri Spratt, who made a rare appearance at the event alongside Aamir and his son, Azad. This light-hearted moment only added to the joyful atmosphere of the evening.
In another playful jab, Salman humorously accused Aamir of "stealing" the film, joking, “I was doing the paperwork, slowly and steadily... I had praised the film so much. But he didn’t tell me he was going to make it. He just went ahead and made it! I told him I wanted to do this film, and he said, ‘I’ve already done it!’” Aamir could be seen chuckling at Salman’s antics, showcasing the easygoing friendship the two share.
The screening was not just a reunion of the Khans but also a gathering of numerous Bollywood legends. Attendees included iconic figures such as Rekha, Jeetendra, and Asha Bhosle, alongside contemporary stars like Vicky Kaushal, Riteish Deshmukh, Tiger Shroff, Farah Khan, Tusshar Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Imran Khan, Jaideep Ahlawat, Rhea Chakraborty, and Aparshakti Khurana. Aamir’s daughter, Ira Khan, also graced the event with her husband, Nupur Shikhare.
Directed by RS Prasanna, Sitaare Zameen Par serves as a spiritual sequel to Aamir's beloved 2007 film, Taare Zameen Par. This new installment showcases Aamir in the role of a basketball coach who is dedicated to mentoring a team of children with special needs. The film draws inspiration from the Spanish movie Campeones and marks Aamir Khan's return to the silver screen after his previous project, Laal Singh Chaddha, released in 2022. The film, which also stars Genelia Deshmukh, is set to hit theaters on June 20, promising to deliver a heartwarming story that resonates with audiences of all ages.
