IBA Announces Share Buyback Program Update

Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium, April 18th, 2025 - In alignment with article 8:4 of the Royal Decree issued on April 29th, 2019, which implements the Belgian Code on Companies and Associations, Ion Beam Applications SA, commonly known as IBA, has issued a formal announcement concerning its ongoing share buyback program. This program was initially unveiled on March 24th, 2025, and aims to manage the companys obligations tied to long-term incentive plans for its management team and select personnel.
Under the terms of this program, IBA has engaged a financial intermediary with the authority to repurchase a maximum of 650,000 ordinary shares on the companys behalf. This mandate is set to remain effective until December 31st, 2025, with buybacks having commenced on March 25th, 2025.
In the context of this initiative, IBA has recently completed the repurchase of 72,000 shares on the Euronext Brussels exchange within a brief span from April 15th to April 17th, 2025. The details of these transactions are as follows:

In total, these transactions amounted to a buyback of 72,000 shares at an average price of 10.02 per share, resulting in a cumulative expenditure of 721,285.40. Notably, a significant portion of this activity involved a large block of 50,000 shares acquired on April 15th, executed precisely at 4:14:20 PM on the central order book of Euronext Brussels (XBRU).
