Google Fi Unveils New Unlimited Essentials Plan Amid 10th Anniversary Celebrations

In a significant move to enhance its service offerings, Google Fi has officially launched the Unlimited Essentials plan, priced at $35 per month. This new plan provides subscribers with unlimited calls and texts, along with 30GB of high-speed data tailored for users in the United States.
On the other hand, Google Fi has also rebranded its Simply Unlimited plan, now known as Unlimited Standard, which has seen a notable increase in its data provision, expanding from 35GB to 50GB. This upgrade is not just about data; users will also benefit from 25GB of hotspot tethering, a steep rise from the previous limit of 5GB. Furthermore, customers will enjoy coverage in both Canada and Mexico, providing enhanced connectivity options for travelers, as well as support for select smartwatches.
Google Fi isnt stopping there; the Unlimited Plus plan has been renamed to Unlimited Premium and now offers an impressive 100GB of data, double the previous amount. Alongside this, users will have access to 50GB of high-speed hotspot tethering, six months of YouTube Premium subscription, an ample 100GB of Google One cloud storage, and seamless connectivity for tablets and laptops without incurring additional charges.
In a recent blog post, Google announced that it is expanding access to its data-only SIMs, introducing data-only eSIMs. This innovative feature allows users to easily connect newer devices, such as Android tablets and iPads, to their data plans without needing a physical SIM card, enhancing user convenience.
For those utilizing the Unlimited Premium and Flexible plans, Google Fi's 5G international coverage is set to grow significantly, now extending to over 92 global destinations. This expansion includes the addition of 54 countries, bringing 5G connectivity to both Android and iPhone users, which underscores Googles commitment to providing robust and versatile mobile services.
Moreover, in the coming weeks, iPhone users on the Google Fi network will be able to access their voicemails directly through the phone app, eliminating the need to switch to the Fi app. This integration is expected to simplify user experience and enhance accessibility for iPhone users.
The launch of the Unlimited Essentials plan coincides with Google Fi's 10th anniversary, a milestone the company is celebrating by rolling out limited-time promotions for both new and existing customers. New subscribers will have the opportunity to acquire the Pixel 9 Pro and the Pixel Watch 3 at significantly discounted rates. New customers can expect an immediate $300 discount on the Pixel 9 Pro, with the remaining $699 returned over 24 monthly bill credits. Additionally, once the phone is shipped, customers will receive an email with a code for $100 off the Pixel Watch 3, with the remaining cost also credited over the same billing cycle.
For existing customers, Google Fi is offering enticing rebate discounts on all Pixel 9 series phones, encouraging loyalty and rewarding their current user base. Customers are advised to check their Google Fi accounts to see these new offers available to them.
