The Lockheed Martin Artificial Intelligence Center (LAIC) is actively on the lookout for a dynamic individual equipped with extensive knowledge in radar systems engineering, signal processing, data science, artificial intelligence (AI), and machine learning (ML). This role is critical in supporting the Applied AI team and its diverse product portfolio, which encompasses a wide array of projects across the LAIC. The team's primary objective is to harness the capabilities of small, innovative, and agile teams to swiftly iterate and enhance solutions, transitioning them from prototype stages to full deployment across the Lockheed Martin enterprise.

This ambitious initiative leverages machine learning operations paradigms to guarantee continuous maintenance for products that have already been deployed. The selected candidate will concentrate on monitoring and maintaining AI capabilities already in the field, while also focusing on the development of new features aimed at improving ML monitoring and processes for ongoing updates to these systems.

The responsibilities of this role are manifold, including the analysis of customer data, evaluating ML model performance, implementing updates to these models, and developing new capabilities that align with evolving operational requirements. A successful candidate must exhibit a high degree of self-motivation, an exceptional work ethic, and strong time management and interpersonal skills.

To fulfill the requirements of this position, the successful applicant will be required to work at several major Lockheed Martin facilities that serve significant customer platforms, including locations in Moorestown, Valley Forge, Colorado, and Orlando. The expectation is that the individual will work on-site between 50% and full time, contingent upon mission needs. Moreover, there may be occasions when off-hours work is necessary to meet mission requirements, particularly when providing updates or real-time monitoring of customer mission systems. However, flexible hours can be arranged outside of these requirements.
