Prince Harry latest: Duke of Sussex loses Court of Appeal challenge over his security arrangements in UK

'Enormous blow' for Harry Royal correspondent Rhiannon Mills says today's judgment is an "enormous blow" for Prince Harry. "You have to remember that he deliberately made the choice to fly all the way from America back here to the UK for that two-day Court of Appeal hearing," she says. A reminder that while he was around for the legal arguments, Prince Harry was not present for today's judgment. "He wanted for himself to sit there and hear all of the evidence that was read out, not just in public but in private," she adds. Mills notes how personal an issue this is for the royal. His barrister made the argument the duke "very clearly said that he believed that his safety, his security and his life were at stake because of that decision to not automatically give him police protection when he comes here to the UK". It's a blow for others, she adds. "As with so many of these court battles that he's taken on, he sees this as a real point of principle - he was hoping that it might change things for other people as well as himself," Mills says.
