According to reports, she was declared dead upon arrival at Bellevue Hospital in Mumbai. Her husband, Parag Tyagi, along with three other individuals, rushed her to the hospital after she suffered a cardiac arrest, but despite their efforts, she could not be revived.

The heartbreaking news was initially shared by journalist Vickey Lalwani on social media, who stated, “Shefali Jariwala, the Kaanta Laga girl, is no more.” Although the exact cause of her death remains unknown at this time, Lalwani confirmed that Shefali was brought to the Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital roughly 45 minutes before his post. Eyewitnesses noted that Shefali was accompanied by her husband and three others, reinforcing the urgency of their arrival.

During a follow-up with the hospital's reception staff, it was disclosed that Shefali had unfortunately passed before reaching the facility. They confirmed, “Shefali had expired before she was brought in.” Parag Tyagi's distress was palpable as he was spotted leaving the hospital, although he has yet to address the media regarding the tragic loss of his wife.

Further attempts to obtain information from the hospital were met with limited responses. When contacted, a representative from the hospital advised that further details would need to come from Dr. Vijay Lulla, a cardiologist at Bellevue. While Dr. Lulla did not deny the news, he maintained patient confidentiality, stating, “I cannot divulge any details regarding any patient.” Another doctor, Dr. Sushant, confirmed the unfortunate events and mentioned that they would be sending Shefali’s body for a post-mortem examination at Cooper Hospital to determine the cause of death.
