Following the unfortunate confirmation of her passing, her body was subsequently transferred to Cooper Hospital around 12:30 am for further examination and postmortem procedures.
According to the Assistant Medical Officer (AMO) at Cooper Hospital, the body was brought from another facility, and while the initial reports suggest a cardiac arrest, the precise cause of death will only be determined after a thorough postmortem examination is conducted. This process is crucial in establishing any underlying health conditions that may have contributed to this sudden incident.
In an effort to investigate the circumstances surrounding Shefali’s untimely death, the Mumbai Police arrived at her residence in Andheri late Friday night. A forensic team was also dispatched to the scene, where they performed a meticulous search of the house. Although no formal statement has yet been released concerning the nature of her passing, the involvement of law enforcement and forensic professionals raises questions and suggests that the case may be treated with a degree of suspicion.
